Darkroom Door~ Feather pencils and the new release!!!

Hi guys!!!
Today up is Feather Pencils and they are super cute, too!!!!

Stamped on vellum using the Feather set by Darkroom Door.  The ink is by Ranger and I used the Wendy Vecchi colors.  Fussy cut them out and cluster on the end of a pencil.
I have a detailed instruction list on Darkroom Door.

I love how they look, so real.
You can do the same thing by wrapping a pen with washi and then add the feathers, for
 a  fancy sign-in pen.

Darkroom Door has some brand new Texture stamps which are perfect for card making and art journal pages.  I think scrapbooking too:):).
See all the new releases at Darkroom Door.

Try It Tuesday~ a baby shoe pin cushion!

Hi guys!
Time for Try It Tuesday~
I had this project in Que for sometime now,  with the new baby on the way (soon to be here) I decided it was time to see if I can make this turn into what I have in my head:):)

So my idea is a pin cushion, boy style:):)

I used a muslin bag (Curtsey Boutique has them) and tied the end with twine and worked it into the foot part of the baby shoe.  I took the shoe laces out and put in seam binding ribbon.  I tied it tight and that is what is keeping the pin cushion part inside the baby shoe.  No glue is needed.

I decorated it and stamped a little tag.  I used old buttons, stick pins, safety pin, seam binding ribbon and beads and a charm.
Can't wait until our little guy gets here:):)

A Blog Hop with a Difference~

Hey guys!!!
I was tagged by Cindy Gay!!
This blog hop is links.  I guess everyone is busy and I was unable to get three people so I'm the end of the line, but I did want to answer the questions and share a little about myself~

1. What am I working on right now?
I have been doing a re-purposing project that will show tomorrow on Try It Tuesday. I finished this card up for Clear Scraps .

2. How long does it take you to create a project?
It depends on what I'm creating.  I know I'm not as fast as I used to be:):)
I can usually get 2 layouts and 1 card in a day, as an example.

3. What are my fave things I love to create with at the moment.
I create for Darkroom Door , Clear Scraps and Curtsey Boutique. So stamping is a big interest along with handmade items and acrylic albums.  I still love Jenni, but old school Jenni:):)
I'm also stamp carving and love it!!!

4. How does your creating process work?
That is an easy one~ I just start and see where it leads.

5. What inspires you?
Vintage and Nature:)

A little of both here:):)
