Our puzzle piece swap~Craft Crossing girls!

Hi guys!!
Some of the girls at Craft Crossing (friends, customers, special peeps, teachers) got together and did a puzzle piece swap.  It was organized by Christy  Gilbreath (Collins Group Representative)
 for our area.
Here is the puzzle with all of the pieces done by me~this was my design:):) for everyone.  So each person got one of these~

Enamel ware re-purpose~ junkin' find!

Hi guys!!!
How about a quick and easy and super cute re-purpose (junkin')!!!
I found this for $3 and couldn't walk away. I have a pretty large collection of enamel ware but nothing like this~

I wanted to use it, not just stack it up with my collection:).
So this is what I did with it~

I put my crafting tweezers in the candle space and my used sponges (that I can still use)
on the dish.  If it get dirty, it will be easy to clean.
Have a great weekend and go junkin', it is good for the soul.
  It takes you back~

Try It Tuesday ~A Baseball Album with Clear Scraps!

Hi guys!!!
I have a super cute baseball album using a mini acrylic cutout by Clear Scraps (tutorial on the blog)!!!  And........
I just so happen to have a little"grand" that plays T-ball, so perfect!!!!

I can't wait to put his pictures in it:):)
I used Bo Bunny paper along with  the acrylic baseball album from Clear Scraps.
I left the protective cover on the acrylic and sprayed red ink mist for the red stitching.  I used the cover like a stencil, to get the red stitching lines for the baseball.

See, all I need is some cute pictures.
Thanks for stopping by~

Stamp Carving~My Garden Set

Hi guys~
Now that you know my "happy" news, I have a Garden Set to share with you.   We went for a ride around the ranch today and Bluebonnets and Indian Paint are showing their color. Even purple Verbena.

I guess you can tell I really love to carve.  I used to paint these kind of bird houses on old enamel pans, doors, old ironing boards and what ever else I could find, so these are in my head to stay.  Back then you could say it was my signature style:):)

I used Ranger Archival Ink and my Stampin' Up Markers to add the color to The Garden Set.
I need to get back to Lesson 6, is what I need to do:):) and I will. I'm coming Julie.............

Try It Tuesday~Beauty is in the eye of the beholder:):)

Hi guys!
For Try It Tuesday I thought I would show you how to decorate with the bird nests using vintage containers.  I have found five in the last couple of months and have added little eggs and placed them in my home.
I make sure they are clean and no bugs~always!!!

I spy the bed spring:):), a vintage coffee can and a vintage pottery  dish.
 Love, love the look.

The eggs are easy to find, any craft store.  These also look really sweet at the holidays with festive items in them.
Remember this~

I still have it out~
One more, all four of them on a vintage bread board.

Tried to take a picture of them on the table and it was really dark and hard to fix,
so I took it outside to photograph.
To me this is another form of art and it makes me happy and reminds me of my many, many blessings (that sometime I forget).
and~these were in the yard, blowing around.
Thanks for stopping by for~

XOXO

Clear Scraps~acrylic rocks!!!

Hi guys!! Hope you had a great weekend~
I did another stamp carving set, I'll show you later this week,
but for today I have some Clear Scraps to share!!

I used the large Oval Frame and the  wire mixer both as a stencil and an embellishment
on my page.  One of those, two for one products:):)
On the left, top corner I dabbed paint and then used it in the center, with my title.

I love how the large oval frame showcases the picture.  Love the look!!!
The paper is by Little Yellow Bicycle

Stop by Clear Scraps and take a look at the new products~they really do rock!!!

Stamp Carving~first three lessons!

Hi guys~
I have been having fun with my Stamp Carving Class with Julie Balzer.
I'm on lesson 5 and have kinda gone out on my own:):).  It is so easy to do that, because all I want to do is carve~
So here is some of my stamps, from the begining~
Very first stamp~the heart and then I wanted to try a flower~
 Stamped in my Vintage Dictionary~
and the flower.  The ink bleeds on the thin dictionary pages, but
 I continued to stamp:)
I call these lines but they are actually stamps that can be stamped together (making a design).
A chevron pattern.  My first large stamp.

These are my stamps through lesson 3.
I used Ranger ink/Wendy Vecchi when I stamped on the dictionary pages.
Stay tuned for lesson 4 & 5.  Yes, I left the lessons and went out on my own.
But......................................................
I'm going back:):)
and I found this junkin'
A stamp carving tool~$6.
***love the wooden handle***
