Cards and a book to hold them~

This is a project I did in Florida {Collins Group Convention}:) I just got it finished in time to give it to my mom!!!  The class was taught by Joey Otlo with Bazzill Basics.  It is a  card holder book, has pockets in it to hold cards for each month.

These are the cards that I made to put in the pockets, in the book.  The first one is a pop up card using the pop up die by Sizzix and the designer Karen Burniston.

This is how the inside looks with the pockets pages and the print out so you can add your occasion dates that you want to send cards on {or to}. These are Christmas cards but the idea can be tweaked with All Occasion or Birthday cards.

See ya soon!!!!

Merry Christmas with Vintage Street Market~

Hi everyone~this is my work for Vintage Street Market this month!! I used one of the vintage fusion kits {which I love}~mixing old with new. Fabulous idea!!!

The papers are by Jenni Bowlin and Making Memories.  Great pairing of these two papers.

these are gift tags made from My Mind Eye paper. I added some brads and put them on a binder ring.  Some Twirly Twine made them ready to use as a gift!!!

This post will run on Dec. 25th on Vintage Street Market. I don't have the direct link { pre-setting blog} but you will see it.  All the details will be there in the post.  Have a wonderful day~yes, It's Christmas Day!!!!

The Play Date Cafe #162 ~JBS sponsor!!!

Hi everyone~this is the new color palette for this weeks challenge at The Play Date Cafe. I love these four colors together ~ gold, teal, mint and lavender :):). So, so pretty together!!!  I wasn't sure about throwing the lavender in the mix but it totally worked~
Here's what I came up with~

I used October Afternoon, Little Yellow Bicycle and Jenni Bowlin Studio {boy silhoutte stamp} to create my layout!!
We would love to have you play along either with a card or layout, the main thing is to use the color palette for the challenge week. You can post your entry on the PDCC blog.
Our sponsor for this challenge is~

Snuck in a little junkin' trip~

Aren't these little pair of baby girl shoes the cutest ever?! I just had to have them~$6.50, well worth the money !!!

They are all leather~and so small.  I don't know what I'm going to do with them but right now I'm enjoying looking at them and having them hang around:):)~I'll keep you posted.

a slide tray box!!! Perfect for holding your biz cards"):)  and then I thought of this~

I have all of these ( taking up space, that I need) so,I did this~

Fits perfect on the side of my work table, it is adorable storage {very important}and it cleared up more room in my drawer:):)  The perfect storage solution for Jenni Bowlin mini chipboard pieces. The dividers are the Tim Holtz journal cards, perfect size!!!!!

I think the round slide tray would be good for this too!!! Vintage Street Market has three different kind in the store~HERE, HERE and HERE.

Try It Tuesday~use what you have!

Hi everyone~
I wanted to show you a little gift I made using cool stuff I had on hand.  I used vintage office machine key board buttons to make some very unique stick pins for a bulletin board.  Very easy and quick project~
I did clip ( wire cutters) the back of the key board buttons, so they were flat.

This picture shows the layers I used for the front and how it is glued to the back of a regular tack.
I used hot glue.  The button is by Jenni Bowlin Studio.

I used the packaging from this (red tape) to make a gift container for the tacks.  I used the Christmas 2012 by Jenni Bowlin.  Tied twine around it added a gift tag.  I put my name on this one.:):):)

Christmas tags~JBS!!!

It is so fun this time of year, to make Christmas goodies for packages or decorations!!!!  Most everything I make this month is being used as an ornament or on packages.  I loved making these tags  using the Tag papers { a new favorite} and the Mini Silhouette Deck by Jenni Bowlin Studio.

The Christmas Chipboard buttons are on the tags too, also with some vintage lace and candy canes!!! The tags look great on packages too~these are all given away!!

Have a great Monday, like all of you I have tons of wrapping still to do!!!
See ya soon!!!

Gift idea~with JBS!!!

Hi everyone~wanted to share with you some ideas for easy and cute gift ideas.  I used some of JBS goodies and made lapel pins.  All you need is some pretty buttons, beads and the lapel pin set.

This one I used the JBS doily embellishment and hot glued the lapel stick pin to the back.  The front has a vintage button.  Then I attached the pin to one of the cards in the new "mini deck"~love the look!!!

You can put them on your Christmas tree, they look so pretty!!! Add a gift tag and they are ready to put a name on and gift !!!!!  I have 3 {only 3} Jenni Bowlin stamps ~ the first three peeps that email me, I'll send each of you one!!

Try It Tuesday~Magnet Board {oil drip pan}

I saw this on Pinterest and thought what a great magnet board for my Sizzix {Movers & Shapers} dies.  Hubby mounted in on the inside of my scrappy closet and I just love it.  I'm sure other stuff will land on it too:):):).  Here is the original post from the blog that it was on.  So cool!!!!

We got our oil drip pan at Wal-mart for $12,  really!!!  It is really big, but I love that ~working on a way to add my Spellbinder dies to it.  Great to have them all in one place.
