Recycle Craft~making paper!!!

Hi everyone!!! Coming off a birthday weekend.  My youngest son and his family came for the weekend.  We had a wonderful time~
This came in the mail a few days ago and I have been ready to try my hand at paper making.  It is recycling and that appeals to me and the papers will look so cool on cards and my scrapbooking layouts.  I also ordered Acid Phree which makes your recycled paper acid free by neutralizing the acid in the recycled paper.

I also ordered some gold, copper, silver flakes to add along with some botanicals.  I got kinda of crazy and ordered the paper press too.  I can press my own flowers and on a good rain year we have beautiful wildflowers!

I need some nice sunny days and I'm gonna start making some paper~you will be the first to see it!!!!

Here is the site: Paper Alice ~ she is super nice and will be glad to help you.  I am not getting any compensation for this blog post. I just wanted to share with you a great site!!!

I am up over at ScrapStreet ~ would love for you to stop in!!!!

Can't wait!!! You'll totally rock it. And this new secret squirrel code stuff makes it hard to comment because its hard to read. Sigh. I'm getting old.

Wow Connie, glad you posted this! I have had a paper making kit/screen, for YEARS now and have not had the guts to try it yet! LOL I have heard that you can use Milk of Magnesia (not sure if that is the right spelling)as a way to make your papers, even newspaper articles that you want to save, acid free. I have not tried it myself yet, but if it works it might be a cheaper way to make your items acid free. Love Penny

No joke, I was contemplating making my own specialty paper. Awesome how great minds think alike. LOL

I don't have a press so I've always done it the hard way. I can't wait to see what you make.
