Try It Tuesday~gift card holder

This is that perfect gift for the teen in your life!!!  A gift card holder that will hold 4 gift cards from their favorite fast food!  So here we go ~

You will need 2 strips of pattern paper ( I used Authentique) cut 12"X3". You will score both of them at 4" and 8" making an accordion.  The next thing you do is lay them side by side to attach them together.

I used double sided tape and then covered with Tim Holtz tissue tape.  Makes a very nice hinge. Do both sides.

You will have 6 sections~glue section 2 and 3, back to back and section 4 and 5, back to back. I used Helmar's Craft glue to do this.

Side note: this picture does not show the two sections glued back to back ~ so don't get confused.  Go ahead and glue on your Canvas Corp mini envelopes (that will hold your fast food gift cards).  You are ready to decorate your envelopes and buy your gift cards.

I used the Marvy (pink) scallop punch and the Marvy (blue) oval punch to make my labels for the envelopes.  I added mini letters to name the envelopes.  I used Helmar's Craft glue for this project.
The Pumpkin on the front is the Tim Holtz die and the orange button is Jenni Bowlin. For you local girls Craft Crossing has these supplies!

If you want another version of this mini gift card holder go over to The Paper Bakery~I have a Christmas gift card holder up using Echo Park paper (from the November add on kit)  Hope you stop by and say hi!!!
See ya soon!!
