Try it Tuesday~Tim Holtz configuration box!!

Have you ever tried a Tim Holtz configuration box?  I did this past weekend at CraftCrossing!!! Our fabulous teacher, Penci got us all started.  It took longer than I thought, to paper the inside and outside with one of my favorite Jenni Bowlin papers, but once that was done then it was time to move on the the taping.  We used the Tim Holtz tissue tape.  This tape is so cool to work with~you just tear it~no scissors needed!!!
These are the "goodies" I have collected to put in mine.  That was half the fun digging around and finding treasures to be housed in my configurations box. I can't wait to get it all fixed~just need some time!!!!
This beautiful piece of hardware, by Graphic45, is going to be mounted on the side of the box.  One of my favorite things is "old, cool hardware"!!!! If you are local CraftCrossing has everything you need to make this and then some!!! I bet you end up making more than one box ~I'm already planning my next one!!!!  I'll post a pic of my finished box soon!   Have a great Tuesday and give this a try!!!

  1. Connie you are making me want to try the configuation boxes. I would have to order mine from online as no one around here carries the boxes. Great job and I can't wait to see the end results.
