Little Yellow Bicycle/Free Spirit

Acrylic cards!!! Paper by Little Yellow Bicycle, Free Spirit line. I used hemp to tie at the bottom - reminds me of the 70's. Such a fun time-I would know I was there!!!!This is a double layout of my niece and her "honey" at his "guy" shower!!!
I used the peace die cut and sliced it in half bringing attention to the center of the double layout. I don't do to many doubles anymore but It was fun to shake it up a bit!!!

I'm still looking for blog followers and comments-love those comments. I will draw for a "Rak" the end of this week. have a great day and be "crafty"!!!

Altered "beer" Carrier

This was a carrier left behind in my pantry. I threw it in the trash and then I had that "light bulb moment"-you know the one, hey I can alter that and make a cool organizer for my favorite buttons!!! I used Star Buck Coffee jars for my containers. I used Glossy Accents to adhere the Jenni Bowlin milk caps to the lids!!
Here is a side view so you can see the "cool" dimension on the front. I put a bunch of vintage "goodies" on the front to decorate. The paper is Jenni Bowlin-most of this is Jenni Bowlin!!!

The finished piece!! Looks great on my scrappy table and love that my buttons are so close. Leave me a comment or become a follower and I will send a Jenni Bowlin "goody" to some lucky winner!!! I will draw at the end of next week. If you link me to your blog I will put you in twice!!! Make sure to leave me a way to contact you. Whoo hoo - lets get "crafty" ladies!!! Have a great day!!!!

Spring into Summer Blog Hop

Hi everyone - a few of my crafty friends and I decided to have a blog hop-so welcome!!!!! Each one of us will have something special for you. I will be offering a drawing for some"crafty goodies"- so leave me a comment or better yet become a BLOG FOLLOWER and your name goes in for the drawing!!! If you do both you go in "twice"!!!

I have done a tutorial on"Stealing the middle out of your paper"-so here we go!!

Stealing the middle out of your 12x12 patterned paper

1. Line your paper up on your trimmer leaving a 1" margin all around the paper.

2. Set your blade at 1" and set it down and pull blade down the side of the paper
and stop at 11".

3. Turn paper and repeat process until all 4 sides are cut.

4. The middle will fall out.

notes: Your trimmer blade will have cross bars on it so it will line up straight. Your cuts will always start at 1" to 11"-that gives you an 1" margin. and you will have a nice frame for your layout.

Your next stop is Lisa at My Kreative Pursuits. Be sure and leave me a comment or become a blog follower or both to be entered for the "Crafty Goody"!!!! Have a great day and do something CRAFTY!!!!

Texas Wild Flowers!

Here's a fun one!! I used stamps to make the back ground on the kraft cardstock and the frame around the Texas Blue Bonnet picture is made with a round stamp that says, "Made in Texas" . The layout says it all-"Only in Texas will you find this"!!! Have a good one and do something crafty.
Come back Friday ( the 14th) I'm in a blog hop - those are always fun!!!

Zutter hang-ups!

Remember a few weeks back when I won the Zutter hang up-will this is what a did with them!!! This is a post card kit I bought at CraftCrossing.
The kit comes with vintage art and the chipboard. You can either make the post cards, which are so cute, or do a wall hanging.

I added some Kaiser pearls, Primas ( also from CraftCrossing), inked up the edges and then put the hang - ups on! Not hard at all!!!

You get six vintage post cards in each kit-so I was able to make two wall hangings and then the "vintage " magnets from one kit!! CraftCrossings has six different kits to choose from. I think I need them all!!!! I can just see these on a Christmas tree. So pretty!!!

Go take a look at her web-site and tell her I sent you. Have a great day and Congrats to our blog follower winners!!! More prizes to come!!
