AC Bailey NSD Blog Hop

Hi everyone! I am so glad you found me today! AC Bailey is having a blog hop for NSD and guess what? You can win some "scrappy stuff" just by hopping from blog to blog. So come hop with us!

My name is Connie Mercer and I have been a consultant for ACB since April 2008. Another consultant introduced me to AC Bailey. I joined the design team in September 2008 and life hasn't been the same since. There are many things I love about AC Bailey but three things really stand out for me. I love the free shipping I get for all orders over $35 on the 1st of every month. Second would be the products--my favorite product line is October Afternoon--I love it and want it all!!! I love the vintage feel of the paper and the embellishments that match the paper line. It makes doing my layouts so much easier and faster. And third, would be the customer service Erica gives to not only her consultants but her customers as well. So pull out your paper & pics and have all your favorite snacks on hand and join us for another memorable weekend. As you move from blog to blog each of the ACB DT gals will be teaching you something special - something about scrapping, something I hope you can use on YOUR pages. On my blog I'd like to teach to layer with those "way cool" Fiskars border punches. I think this is fantastic for cards and layouts and it is so easy! Check this out:
I used the scallop, threading water and apron lace border punches. I find I use these more and more. Here's the link to the punches. http://www.acbaileydesigns.net/category_s/51.htm Decide on what paper you want to punch your borders from and punch away. I did three and layered them with the Sassafras Lass. Ink them all up so they will POP off the page. Start layering them - you could even add some ribbon or trim for demension. Doesn't it look GREAT!!!
Thanks for stopping by and remember - post a comment so you will be put in the drawing. One lucky gal posting on my blog today will win a prize just for having visited my blog. Also I want to remind you that if you create a layout using the techniques learned today, and post it to the ACB forum/gallery you will get a chance to WIN that KOTM pictured here. Awesome, right!! Next stop is the crafty cafe at http://www.the-craftycafe.com/

Enjoy the day!!
