Fiskars/circle border punch

I couldn't wait to try this circle border punch. I have so many ideas! I love the doily look. You could use this for the topper of a gift bag or a photo mat to use on a scrapbooking page. I cut one out to show you how pretty the edge of the paper is. The punch will do 6" or 4" circles. The one I'm showing is a 6". You can get this punch at http://www.acbaileydesigns.com/ or you can contact me. All orders for the circle border punch will go into a special drawing, for a great prize from me.

Spiders

I've been working on these "cute little" critters for a couple of days. They keep trying to crawl away!! hee, hee. I made these for the ladies I play bunko with. I think they will get a good laugh and enjoy eating the "yummy" peppermint patty. I'll see tomorrow!!

I used a SU scallop punch for the body (http://www.acbaileydesigns.com/) has them also. I painted the face on and used a corner punch for the legs. Very easy cheesy!! Give it go-go ahead...

Matchbook Album

I started this project last night and finished it today. Really like how it came out. Was so fun to put together and did I say EASY cheesy. It is a kit put out by Basic Grey/Urban Couture. I really like kits when you don't have lots of time to think it through and figure things out-It's all done for you here. Thanks for looking today and go give it a go and make something!!

Layout challenges/OCT

I did these 2 layouts in the wee hours of the morning. Thought I would post them and challenge you girls to pick up your photos and do a couple of layouts. You will feel so much better after you do and you will have 2 more layouts done. Pick a place in your home that you can put a table up and have a place to leave stuff out and work on your photos a little at a time. You will be amazed at the end of the month what you have accomplished. Go ahead-give it a go!!

Corner Book Markers

I came across these while blog hopping a few days ago. I put my spin on them and came up with this. So cute and so easy. All you need is a 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" square peice of paper, fold just at the top so you can find the middle of your square and corner round the bottom corners and then decorate!! What nice little gifts!! Have fun and make a bunch.

What a Wonderful World

I couldn't sleep last night so I decided to do one of the challenges, for October, on the consultant board over on AC Bailey. The challenge was to use a song-so I picked "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong. This song always speaks to me - I guess because this is the way I see the world. I did learn a little back ground on the song. It was written with the Vietman war in mind-how wonderful it would be if there was no war. Interesting.

Katie Surprise

What a surprise I got when I picked up the mail the other day. Katie bug had sent me a surprise, in the mail, for making the DT at AC Bailey and just because. So sweet. Yeah Katie bug!! That was her nick name when she was a little girl. Thanks so much - You made my day!
